Mr. Linn received his B.A. cum laude from New York University, with highest honors in Economics. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He served as a Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law.
Sam T. Linn

Sam T. Linn is an Associate at the New York, NY offices of León Cosgrove Jiménez, LLP, where he focuses primarily on commercial litigation in both state and federal court and on bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
Prior to joining León Cosgrove Jiménez, Mr. Linn served as in-house counsel to a Houston-based firm providing financial and family office services to ultra-high-net-worth clients. He brings extensive experience in complex financial transactions and with issues involving both domestic and foreign trusts, including work on income and transfer tax matters, various loan products, and compliance with the Corporate Transparency Act, the Securities Act, and the Investment Advisers Act.
Mr. Linn has also worked extensively in the field of political law and voting rights. He has served as counsel to a national presidential campaign and has worked on contested election cases for the U.S. House of Representatives. His work on voting rights for a national think tank has been cited by the New York Times, members of Congress, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Linn also brings a strong understanding of bankruptcy and restructuring matters to the firm, including issues of addressing future claims.
